Thread: Big Mag vs Little mag.

Thought this was pretty funny and cool.
I get to do some unusual jobs as a signwriter, this is one of them.
I have to etch a serial number into the magazine of an Oerlikon 20mm anti aircraft cannon.
Basically a rotary mag, that's my little rotary 10/22 mag on top.

How much % wise would etching numbers in to something like this would de-value it by? 20%? 50%?

Yes it is crazy but these are the times we live in and for the sake of a very discreet serial number I would rather do it than have it removed from display and possibly destroyed and lost forever like some other historical and unique items have been in recent times.
Just an unusual job I thought you guys might be interested in seeing and I thought the size difference in the Magazines was a classic .
