Thread: A big thanks to Waitaki Engineering...

Just wanted to share with you what a great interaction I've had with Mark at Waitaki Engineering.

Last year at the Toby shoot I was lucky enough to pick a prize of a AR15 suppressor built by Waitaki. Unfortunately for me it was threaded in 1/2x20 whilst my already threaded 223 Remington 700 CDL was already threaded in M14. i was on a budget at the time as I was in the of process changing jobs (as you'd say- without prior warning) so waited until early this year to do anything about sorting the thread difference out.

Thanks to @Philipo and @jakewire for the details as I was able to contact Mark and over a phone call and he was happy as to swap it out for one in m14 - no charge. Totally wasn't expecting that! and today it arrived back and fits like a glove. Thanks Mark... you totally didn't need to do that, and i appreciate the effort.

I've had rails from Waitaki for both my 700's and T3's before (but had lost Marks email to make contact) and I must say they really shone out in their correctness and stoutness of build. The latest interaction does nothing more than reinforce that they are great to deal with.

I'll be buying more kit from them in the future to be sure.
