Gidday team, new to the deer scene, had a few hunts but done a heap of bush bashing for pigs earlier in life until a back injury slowed me down.
Looking for a set of binos up to around $600ish.
What are peoples thoughts? Any advice appreciated

Meopta optika from kilwell. If you have an NZDA membership you get a good discount, 8x42 due in jan. Slightly more than 600, but you won’t regret it!
Cheers for that, what are you using in the Meopta range?

Meopta meopros, model before the present one came out. Excellent glass though. Meopta make the glass for zeiss conquest range amongst others, as well as a lot of commercial optic lens and products. Bang f8r buck hard to go past, especially for binos.
Side by side tests we have done the Meopta come first for price. They do a lot of the OEM work and coatings for other big name companies.
55SIX have the binos in stock too.
Ive got 10x waterproof bushnells...in your price range..... they awesome binos and have found me loads of animals...8x or 10x is personal thing, you find things faster with 8x but probably need to zoom up your scope to get better look...the 10x just that tiny bit better for animal it range.
buy the best you can now...look after them and will last a life time.
Ive taken to using my binos when out chasing hares,so easy when they fit in front pocket of rain coat while still having strap around neck.

I’ve had a pair of Leupold Cascade bx2 10x42 for years, not sure what the new models called, but great no fuss bino’s for the price so worth a look. Upgraded to SIG r/f binos now
Cheers
See what the Sig’s 8x42 on Trade Me go for. Might stay below your limit. Also some Leica 10x25s that you could take a punt on and send to get fixed...

The Meoptas are on another planet to the cascades. Looked through both about two weeks ago - no comparison.
