Hey guys,
Been looking around at bipod's for my 6.5mm SAUM. There are a few choices just wondering what people's opinions of the Chinese ones (Kozac) or as I want to call them Kojak are and how they compare to the Harris?
Cheers,
Michael.

My mate has a bushbuck which he regularly shoots out to 500m -700m with. But i have a harris ill be sticking with
last thing u want is to walk in two days and a leg falls off it
Get the real deal and avoid tears.
Welcome to Sako club.
I tried a sun optics I think it's called. It's been fine, no issues. I'm pretty sure they have a life time warranty, find them at workshop innovation.
buy quality (Harris), you'll spend a heap of $ on custom rifle, optics and load dev, so don't short change yourself on components like bipod
Atlas and are bloody great
Cheers guys. Have the budget for a Harris bipod so I'll be buying that.
Caldwell make an acceptable Harris copy
I had a Bush buck on a .17HMR, nothing wrong with it. How ever and just my option get a Versa-pod. I have had two now and really rate them. Very quick to attach or take off, not heavy but very tough. Cheaper than a Harris ( some models ) and does as good a job.
The versa pod I had was a heavy clunky thing, didn't like it
This is what you want Gunworks Ltd - Harris Bipod - Bipod of Death however your mates wok like you shooting over their bonnets.
Trust the dog.........................................ALWAYS Trust the dog!!
Just got a fixed 1A2 Harris, found the swivel to be a pain in the ass and far heavier for no gain
Nah, started with a fixed model. Took it back 24 hrs later and changed to the swivel. Only big mistake I made was getting friction legs. Have added spikes and pod loc since.
Prefer the Atlas type now - has the pan feature missing on the Harris. Plus quick change feet options.
just a thought but have you tried just shooting off a pack or a rolled up jacket etc? I know plenty of people who "thought" they needed a bipod to shoot anything and were pleasantly surprised that with a bit of getting used to they could shoot just as well or better off a pack. Youre carrying it anyway so Its cheap, its free, it doesn't weigh anything and it works...
