The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

I had a feeling that would be your answer haha

But on a serious note did they ever make a turn bolt or whatever you call them. A normal bolt action? I can't find one on their website

Yes, before the R93. I think it was a SM88 or KM88? That is fucking ugly though. Almost Howa ugly.

Doubt it Tobes, I believe Mauser and Sauer are under the same ownership as Blaser so they will probably never make a turnbolt as it would step into the market share of the other two.
Same way that Tikka will never make a premium rifle again as that would encroach on Sako's territory.

I agree with you though, they are awesome quality rifles but not to my taste either.

I guess they would have to run out of supplies of those fabled "plastic washers" before a redesign might be called for. Not my cup of tea either I'm afraid.

Blaser make a beatiful single shot rifle.
Someone on the forum had one, and had trouble with it though. Maybe it was Norway?

They make some nice double rifles too that I like, only complaint I have heard on them is the decocking safety, on a dangerous game rifle phs are wary of not having a quick flick off safety.
