30mm standard rings with 50mm objective don't leave a lot with the Premier
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Useless fucking Blaser. It's not hard to see why people bag them. Falling apart all the time.

As you said in the other thread cleaning them must be a breeze compared to some rigs.

After days of deliberation and searching my options I ended up getting a saddle mount and rings from a company here in Australia called Gone Hunting .
I'm pretty sure they are the same thing as what is on ebay and I feel happier dealing with a local company if things go wrong or I have issues .
The price was $400 aussie delivered to my door which is only a couple more than the ebay ones .
Just thought I'd let you Blaser guys know that there is an Aussie alternative out there .

Blaser R8/R93 Saddle Mount - lower cost alternative...

You know your having a good day when the cook shouts you lunch in town and having only been home a few hrs after 5 weeks away, get a leave pass straight after lunch to go check the rifle.

Drove out to the farm, set up a target, drove back 200 and setup my position. Slapped the March on the .260 barrel and squeezed off 3 rnds.
Sloppy 12 yr old blasers and their rickety mounts.

Not bad for old 125 gr partitions.
Best group I have shot with that barrel by a wee margin.
To repeat it, would be a trick tho I reckon😊

How was that target shot ?
Prone with bipod - over your day pack on the bonnet of the ute - what's your set up because that's pretty good shooting at 200 .
Hell I'm glad I own Blasers and not the mis-mash of Oriental -American make do for now rifles I've had in the past

Shot prone off a Harris bipod and heavy rear bag filled with a black sand mix.
TBF Ken it is a fluke. I haven't fired a shot in 5 weeks. It just topped off an already good day.
    It will usually shoot around 3/4 - 1" with 140 Amax @ 200.
I only tried for the first time and zeroed the partitions last time I was home.
I zero @ 200 and they shot well, but not that well last month.
My 6.5-06 barrel shot similar groups regularly.
Both barrels are just #3 contour hunting profile barrels.
