The export restrictions from the USA are a max value of <$100USD or you need a State Department export permit which costs $250US. If you try and export more and get caught I assume that is classed as a felony and you get to spend a lot of years in a US jail. I think its at least 5 years if not 10. The only Q is does this apply to your method of exporting.

Steven, appreciate that post....can you clarify for me the "export restrictions".Ive been sending parts and taking parts(declaring) them for years.I have never been hit with so called export restrictions, they have always been considered "personal"items, and not export items that would require an Export permit or license.I have declared their values(sometimes over $1000 usd)......... what am I missing here????...... thanks for your reply in advance
