    1080 what a brilliant marketing idea and the label directions are spot on. Sell them to doc oh wait cant use .22 on doc land bugger better keep using thr other 1080 then.

    I tend to just stick with CCI std velocity and prefer shooting subsonic.

    Up until recently they were $60 per 500, but price has increased to $65 now.
    I'm willing to pay a little extra for them being subs and the fact they don't shoot 4" groups at 50m.

    i had my eye on ammo direct's reminton thunderbolt, i shoot 1000+ a month, anyone had experience with the thunderbolt, especially on semi?

    remington 22 (and maybe others) use an especially dirty powder made by dupont
    years ago i sacrificed 20 bullets of many brands and emptied the powder out onto a piece of formica then lit each pile with a lighter. by far the remington ammo was dirtier and left a tar like residue.
    CCI for me nowadays or more stripping down the rifles for cleaning
