Thread: Bush hunting scope, 3-9 x 40 or 5-15 x 40?

    Well guys, this is why i ask the 'forum', leupy it is then....will sight it on my new Bush rig when it arrives from Hamills in Rotorua......

    Invest in alumina caps for your leupy for in the bush mate.Ive got my a into g and im getting them for my leupy, there two good a scope not to have them or even the other buffalo river type or whatever just get some caps.

    You are so right they take a bit to get used to but awesome in the rain!! Just gotta remember they are there ha ha Great lens protection for your scope

    I reckon they'd be the most pain in the ass thing on a gun in the bush.

    Try the butler creek blizzard caps. See through. They are great.

    Not as pain in the arse as a scope full of twigs and dirt!........right when you bring it into the shoulder to let a shot off.but each to there own we cant all be expurts.

    As Neckshot said the alumina lupy caps rock, on all my Vx 3s just wish they'd make em for the vx6...........

    Neckshot wants a set, he has a 40 mm but i can swap him your 50 mm for a 40 mm i have here.
