    Bushnell Elite 3500 2-7x32

    Hello Folks

Is anyone running one of these on a rifle that gets used a lot (or even some!!) ?? If so thoughts??

I don't know what its predecessor was but its perfomance would also be on interest.

    Thanks

    I have the elite 4500 2.5x10x40

It's a good scope. Haven't used it hunting yet but sighted in at the range.

It's a point of aim adjustment not point of impact. So move cross hairs to the bullet impact. Not bullet impact to point if aim.

Good glass and very audible clicks. Mine has zero reset. I quite like the doa 690 reticle

I run a Bushnell Elite 3500 2-7x32 on my Zastava 223 and it is most excellent. I use it mostly for goats and fallow. Find the glass is nice and bright. Never had a single issue with it.

i guy i hunt with ran one back when they went thru a popularity surge about 10 or so years ago

he raved about its glass coatings and how it shed off water. which i think was their main selling point

The earlier model was the Elite 3200, I have two. One is on my 30 06 and they have been on numerous other rifles. They are excellent value and are capable of handling recoil . Mine have rain guard which is a bonus. Mine are 3x9 models which are fine for most hunting situations bar the long range stuff. Good all round scopes.

I used to have a Bushnell Elite 1.5-6X36, which would be similar.
    Pros
-Very good optics for the money
    -Raingaurd works well
    Cons (minor)
-Slightly big and heavy for its magnification range
    -Shortish in the eye relief

I have it on my 308 for years with no issues at all. Except I once got smacked in the forehead shooting up a steep hill at a tahr. Those were the days before I switched to using a suppressor.

I just looked up the model you are interested in and I'd say the same pros and cons would apply. I'd definitely consider it for a suppressed/lighter kicking deer rifle.

I used to run a 2-7 3200 on a suppressed Ruger 44mag bush stumpy , wasa great little scope also had a 3-9 x 40 3200 that was given death & never let me down, both great scopes for the dollars, well made & rainguard is mint.

Did have a 3-9 x 40 3500, this is the improved 3200, had rainguard HD & was Argo filled if I remember correctly, nice scope but the glass wasn't as good as my previous 3200's ( may have just been a dud lens ) but was disappointed at the time so sold it.
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!
