Got one for TimeRider and it's brilliant. Would be better with the bolt on the correct side, but the wrong sided one suited her better. Cost bugger all too.

I think the nearest I've got to a dud was TimeRiders A-Bolt, but less than $40 at the Smithy sorted that. So I'll just have to keep buying till I find myself a dud.

I would say most Subaru owners would have this upon the first visit to a mechanic...

First one wouldnt even cycle ammo threw and the second brand new one was barely better, jammed often didnt and shoot very well with any of many brands of ammo I tried.

    Ruger M77 featherweight in 308
    Bought it in the 80's.

Was a nice to look at, brand new rifle.
It shot like shit. I did everything I could think of to accurize it and still no joy. If anyone has bedded one they will know how screwed up the recoil system was.
Was a shame as for the time it was a nice rifle.

It was pretty accurate for an SKS actually. Tech sights helped a lot, but it weighed more than Jupiter, so off to Bubba it went

Like - but don't like: a good semi is awesome, but a shit one is more frustrating than spilling your dinner.... especially if there is a bit of coin tied up in it!!

For me it was a Baikal single shot. Trigger pull was like doing max bench press but for the index finger and was very gritty. Also they are cast for a right handed shooter so it never fit quite right. Gunsmith had a go at the trigger, and it was better but still not fantastic. Also it was .308, I have since decided that I don't really like .308
