It's the magazine. My father in law has one.
Accurate as but had all sorts of feeding issues.

I mucked around with the magazine and she runs perfectly apart from the odd stoppage due to cleanliness.

I think the nearest I've got to a dud was TimeRiders A-Bolt, but less than $40 at the Smithy sorted that. So I'll just have to keep buying till I find myself a dud.
Yes for me it's been 30% dud Savages. The remaining 70% were awesome.

OK second buyers regret a M597. Mags are shit AND it shot like crap also. No amount of cleaning would fix a turd.

I had one it was a hunk of shit when I got it inaccurate as shit and use to jam just use 8 in the mag and I did something else to it to stop feeding problems but cant remember what took the barrel out and refitted it and it was good after that more accurate than its 10/22 mate

Saiga .223. Aweful trigger. Front sight was canted so it couldnt be zeroed at all. Bolt hold open device broke, turning the supposedly 110% reliable AK into FTF city. Jammed the bolt hold open down put a scope on. Unable to shoot a group that stayed in the same place. With Barnaul ammo it just didn't group at all, literally like 12moa. I sold the rifle for what I payed for it so who cares. Now have a Saiga 7.62x39 which is a completely different kettle of fish. Accurate and 100% reliable so far after a couple thousand rounds or so.

We have three in 243 and they are all shooters. The third one was to be a parts machine as it cost little more than a new mag. Shot too well to part out.

    Desert Eagle .44 Magum
I had a go on one when I was 25,bought on at 34 .What a pile of shit. I paid extra for "Satin Nickle "Finnish. It only ran reliably with Magtech ammo or ++P reloads.Plus it was a amazing "wanker magnet" at the range.Mainly because when using it I must have resembled one of them.

Could not hit shit with it. Bolt was a real bitch to! Really hard to cock and had a trigger you needed a hammer to set off.
Looked nice but only lasted two trips....weekend trips
