Thread: Camo spray job for stock

Hi. Did you prime before rustoleum paint. What clearcote did you use and how well has the paint job held up. About to paint a howa alpine fibreglass stock.

No prime, Matt clear is Rustoleum brand. Used that as the other matt colours were that brand. Has lasted well so far. If you’re starting with fibreglass stock I’d be giving it a good go over with 120 or 150 grit before painting. Pretty cool what can be achieved with a few rattle cans & some imagination.
