Can't say I've come close to damaging either of mine, the javelin is tucked away when not fitted to the rifle so not really in any danger of getting knocked about and well the bushbuck is attached to the rifle and in reality when one arses up generally speaking the rifle is protected at all costs
They both seem pretty strong and I think any kind of mishap that would be violent enough to damage either would
a: damage the rifle
And
b: damage a steel bipod
Can't say I've ever damaged a bipod
