    Carbon cleanup

Any suggestions on how to remove the carbon from the muzzle of my Bergara after shooting with a suppressor? Rubbing with solvent doesn't seem to do much, I'm wondering if I need to get the Dremel out...

Acetone or methyl ethyl ketone, there's enough unburnt organic matter in it to make it dissolve.

It's going to come back and doesn't affect anything so why would you bother?

soak it overnight in a cup of kero or just wet a rag with your bore preserver and rest it barrel down on it in the gunsafe

Use a solvent, let it soak. Use nothing abrasive otherwise goodbye crown and accuracy. CLP or boretech eliminate works well. Yes it will foul again but if you keep on top of it, it's easier to maintain.

I use a soft phosphor bronze 12 gauge brush with some brake cleaner or wd40 comes off in no time I have the rifle on its side so nothing much goes into the barrel then I clean the barrel.
