    Thanks @veitnamcam.

    So:
    974g for the factory stock.
    500 for the Excl chassis.
??? for the High Tech Carbon fibre stock.

High Tech said that their stock is a little way off being released. I suspect I am buying a plastic stocked Howa Mini and waiting for these options to become available.

Is Hi-tec making a smaller stock to suit the howa mini or just inletting his existing tikka/rem sized stocks.

A little light weight rifle like the howa mini needs a smaller stock.

MPI industries do a carbon stock. They are in canada so allow about $60 shipping. they are very light in some shapes.

If you want it to be like an ar15.
Now I hate rifle chassis. But the MDT Oryx is one of the most practical little light chassis I’ve seen. Made for the howa. Not sure about the mini. Check 55six web. Great feature is the mag button is recessed. The mag catch one on the howa mini std stock is made all wrong and I know of people who have lost mags on the hill shooting roos. I’ve used one once and had the mag drop out twice.

I think that chassis is too heavy for me. The latest version of the howa has a a smaller mag release button that stiffer.
