    Cerakote Results 👍🏻

My sons Marlin xls 243 blued was always a pain to maintain with surface rust being and issue. Finally decided to bite the bullet and get it cerakoted.
Supporting my local “Shooter Ready” in Cambridge who happy provided colour choices (son chose colour) and they stripped and sent off for coating.
I chose to get the sling swivels, action screws, rings &bases, suppressor and action/barrel coated.
2 weeks later all back and looking smart.

Makes the rifle feel like a new rifle. For $300 it’s money well spent.
I need to give Shooter ready a shout out as they are amazing to deal with. If you locally based and need gun smithing, gear or general hunting advice, go see them. Help the small guys out(no pun intended)

Seconding the opinion on Shooter Ready, top place to deal with, so much so it's worth the drive from Hamilton. Paint job looks great too.

Do you feel a difference in the sliding of the bolt?
    Better than before?

When I had one of my rifles done, the bolt was noticeably better, smooth as butter.

Very smart! I'm enjoying the extended trip (week+) reduced maintenance of cerokote
