Cheap scope to do some ammo testing

Pondering a cheap scope to slap on my AR15 just to shoot to 100yds to do some testing not much magnification needed, just enough to get over my eye sight limitations x3 or so maybe even a fixed?

So is your plan to do some grouping with the scope and then return to irons or something?
