    Cheapest safe/strongbox for ammo

And ideas who sells the cheapest ammo safe? Looking for a fairly decent size aswell. Like a size to store a few shotgun slabs worth.

The 1-day website has safes for sale today, $79 for a 50cm version. I have one that size i got off TM for ammo and bolts and personal bits and pieces. But you may be better off spending $250 or so and getting a 3 or 5 gun safe for storing that amount of ammo.

dunno if it would work for you, but have you considered a site box, the kind that tradies store their tools in ?

Fairly big. Like a 4-5 gun safe kind of volume.

The reason I ask is that my big ass safe (the fully working one) is still looking for a good home

I get that. But trying to future proof as we all know it’s coming.

Good point. Any idea on mods?

To make a cheap firesafe you can slide Fyreline gib into the inside of your steel box or look for a cheap commercial fire resistant filing cabinet

I picked up a 3-drawer one off Tard me for 40 bucks, cost $45 to cut another key (Chubb, this thing is over 250kgs)

Or cut the top off your steel box and weld heavy mesh over the hole so that it can vent?

If you are near Wgtn I have a steel box that would work but it just needs a hasp and staple riveted/bolted on to it , pm me if interested, $100
