I've had my Mrs out shooting my 6.5x47 a few times just getting her used to a rifle instead of a shotgun which she shoots a lot. It's a primo cal to learn with its got absolutely no recoil and is pretty quiet with the supressor on.

Yep, I had a Barnard 07 in 6.5*47 that was an awesome rifle. With a heavy barrel & suppressor it that chassis it was really nice to shoot. Unfortunately the need for a projector/home theatre system in the new place meant I had to sell it as a compromise... Said at the time it would be replaced at some point

If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more
That's a purty rifle. Good work Abe.
If you don't get Dirt, Blood or Grease under your nails it ain't a hobby
Those are a couple of very sweet looking shooters there mate
Tui man obviously does a top job.
It that a break on the 280ai? A bit hard to see in the photo.
Yeah mate the 280ai has a brake. The 6.5x47 is a NZ hunter build.
Very nice!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Mean scope on that 6.5x47L. Pity about those rings though. What were you thinking?
I wasn't. They need replacing with the new 34mm NF rings.
What are you running in the 6.5?
Shut up, get out & start pushing!
Well she's happy with it, now i just need to get her out shooting it over the next couple of days.
