Thread: Classy 222's/223's

The other day @sneeze (I think) alluded to an inclination to procure a Shultz & Larsen Legacy (their mini action model) - well that got me thinking about really classy "mini" action rifles- walnut and blued steel only need apply! My Howa mini is functional enough but its more in the class of a tool rather than a heirloom .

Provoked as per the above I had a good scan of the interweb and the Schultz and Larsen is indeed very very nice. It got me thinking about what else might be out there, and I came across the Anschultz 1771 series, and damn, they are very nice too. I wonder about a head to head between these two - which would most suit us in NZ? Anyone seen either actually offered here? Cost?

So what else is there in this sort of class ?? Cooper is another that springs to mind but we seem to see less of them here than the Euro offerings.

Someone will no doubt suggest a Sako but Beretta NZ offerings are a no-go for me.
