I like my TC G2. 223. Drill a hole in the cap at bottom of pistol grip and she breaks down with a Allen key.
Pictured at 3.8kg. Would be easy to get it to 3.3kg with a non mag suppressor, smaller scope and lighter rings.
Can the Rossi lever actions be made into takedowns like the "Alaskan Guide Gun's" - thats a very simple takedown system . . .
From memory, 2.3kg with scope and a round loaded, two in the holder on the side and suppressor. you carry it like a necklace and the barrel end is detachable. Very accurate too, but priced at around $1000 per kg.... ($2400 for the rifle etc if I remember correctly.) It is not mine so sorry if the details are a little vague....
That's a cool bit of kit, thanks for the the pic.
I know the term 'agricultural' gets thrown around a lot on here in regards to the Baikal stocks, but with a bit of work that can look quite nice. This is my .308 Baikal. Buddy of mine did all of the work on the stock before I bought it off him. I've got one in .270 with a synthetic stock as well.
you guys have some bloody nice setups over there and I am always envious of those supressors
Another option could be something like a Ruger American Compact. Mine with the suppressor off fits inside my pack, could even cut it another couple of inches shorter so the suppressor comes back to the stock. Certainly a lot more accurate than both the single shot break downs I have owned.
Ken has those for 699 too!
I have a bergara 308 and the thing is awesome. It's been my main hunting rifle since I brought it. I have shot steel out past 600 yards and have nailed a few cham in that 400 to 500 yard range. Makes hitchhiking back to the truck way easier not having a rifle slung over the shoulder.
