I ticked 2 boxes. Don't know if it accepted it.
Anyway a re-barreled Sav to another cal is still Sav.
Under Frankenstein I ticked off my Barnard SM 700 clone, truflite barrel, boyd's stock, AI floor plate and mags.
Truth is I wanted something like a walking varmint / range rifle that would outshoot me (not hard) and could not afford a nice styer in one hit so over 2 years I assemble the bits and sent it away to be assembled.

It will accept multiple votes so no worries there.
That set up sounds like a well thought out combination. What calibre is it in?

Other would be a good option for you sorry.

Every machine is a smoke machine,
If you use it wrong enough.

Thanks Joe, I went with 243, very boring but I had all the reloading gear for 243 and had shot a number of deer and goats with a shorter barreled lever action.
Put a number 3 Profile 24" Trueflite barrel and a Hardy Stealth over barrel suppressor. Boyd's Thumb hole light varmint stock.
