    Fastways have put up their charges for firearms and improved their systems, after the debacle in Canterbury a few months back.
    Last time I used them ~2 mo ago, costs had gone up by about $10 - 15 from memory (Nth Is delivery).
    And they did ask if it was a firearm - good on them. I was happy to tell them "yes".
    They recorded my details & FAL as well as model of boom stick and serial no. Good sensible precautions imo.
    I sent the bolt separately by courier post.
    No issues or dramas.
    I'd rather put up with a bit more control at this level to improve firearm security than provide our politicians or anti-gun lobby with reasons to come up with something really crazy.
