The Mob move firearms up and down the country all the time. Cheep as bro... Then just send your guy to the local gang house to pick it up.

Auckland to Gizzie (Truflite) $24 with Fastways this week. The person on the desk stated they needed to see "a police form". I said, no you don't I'm not selling or buying a firearm, i am sending this rifle to a gunsmith to work on it. There's no change of ownership involved. They disappeared out to the office to consult their manager and returned saying all ok.

Fastways Nelson, Yesterday, $75 to North Island. I won't be doing that again.
Not asked for Police form or Firearms licence, although when I collected a rifle from the depot a month ago I was asked for licence then.

Fastways Nelson have always been expensive, bet the retail outlets aren't paying that price, only the poor shooting public.

First few times I sold guns online I didn't bother reading up on couriers or restrictions and just sent them through Courier Post haha. Had no problems but if they had realized what they were they would have seized and destroyed them apparently. I've had two guns sent to me from trademe sales though Courier Post too, so it seems like a few people are intentionally sending through them despite the restrictions. Wouldn't recommend though,

They have no right to seize and or destroy and would be liable. That would be wilful damage. They only have the right to return it. Technically speaking they say they will not accept anything collectable, so as soon as you put a stamp on a letter they should not accept it. Stamps after all are one of the most collectable things people collect.
There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!
