The first one I bought brand new (lever) wouldnt even function with any ammo the shop had, the second replacement was just barely better and it shot like a mad womens shit.
Dad traded my birthright Lambergun on a rossi singleshot 308 and then got his not gunsmith mate to shorten and homemade suppress it......fail to fire regularly but no warranty as shortened, broke internal part....end of story many hours spent and fixed it myself but it is still a hunk of junk compared to that Lambergun that to this day was the only shotty I ever shot well with.

    Remington Nylon 66.
Amazingly they are popular inside the arctic circle as they function well in subzero conditions.
Which is handy for trappers shooting things point blank.

Remington electronic primer system comes to mind.

Also Ruger rings, why can’t they use a generic system?

The H &K Case less cartridge assault rifle.
The bullet is embedded into a squarish solid propellant , with electric ignition system.
When they finished developing the prototype they realized that after a couple of mags down through it the chamber was so hot that they were cooking off .
Conclusion, get back to good old brass cases

    Plastic bolt shrouds ?
Saves so little weight but makes an unbreakable part weak when dropped on the ground and so unaesthetic with no functional advantage.

Timber an blued steel. Honestly, why would anyone bother when we have light rigid composites and stainless that behave well with moisture?

You'll see plenty of sign around action screws and scopemount areas.

Fixed with a hacksaw blade of appropriate gauge and an impact(!) driver and 4-pound hammer.

Good point. I now have to admit that I have met this species, in fact I see one everyday when I look in the mirror.

My AR 15 riser block has a chip out of one large slot screw where I goofed.
