same .. the .270 just ticks more boxes all around. including you can find ammo almost anywhere in a pinch. and its ballistics are close to 7mmRm, .. and whats this mention of recoil? I've never felt much of that from it but it does have a grey stone suppressor
I am a relativity new hunter, mainly hunting in open country looking for deer and goats up to 250m (max). I am looking at buying a rifle. I have really only used 270's for this hunting in the past but looking at a 25-06 just as it is a little lighter. wanting some feed back as to weather im heading down the right track, feel free to suggest our calibers please. I just want something smaller then a 270 that will still reliable bring down a deer at 250m. I am willing to listen if the 270 is the best choice.
25/06 is a wonderful round renound for being very accurate.
