Now if only they had offset inserts for the 30mm rings we'd be able to get even more elevation adjustment.

Burris do make offset inserts for their 30mm Signature range Zee rings, at least they did 8 years ago.

@gadgetman here you go, looks like they still do them, not sure if this is the best price though

Gunworks Ltd - 30mm Burris Custom Signature Zee Rings

Burris Zee rings with variable moa inserts work a treat - better than a rail any day imo

Was in there today. They sell the 30mm rings but apparently the offset inserts are only available for the 1" rings.

I don't think they know what they are talking about. I definitely had off set inserts in my 30mm Burris rings.

I see. The inserts are not sold separately. They only come with 0 and 10 in the package with new rings. Looks like I'll need to buy 2 new sets to get the inserts as the set I already have only has the 0's.

Or ask on here for the inserts you are after, @ebf swears by them and may have some inserts he doesn't use. There must be a shitload siting in garages doing f all

Very true. Though I'm not sure I've ever heard ebf mention them.

Why do you need two sets of inserts? The inserts do not show MOA. They are +/- inches I think. The actual MOA depends on the distance between bases. To get the maximum amount put the -.10 on the bottom at the front and the +.10 at the top on the front. Put the +.10 at the bottom on the back and the -.10 at the top on the back.
If you do the maths you should be able to work out how many MOA it is. Not that it really matters how much you actually get.
With a 20MOA base only you will easily get to 1000yds and stay in the middle part of the adjustment range.

I need a set too. I was just lazy and didn't put the thousandth of an inch units and know how they work. The actual angle change will be determined by the ring spacing which is easy enough to work out. Think I still need to find another reasonable 6-24 bit of glass.

@kiwi39 @Kiwi Greg @Gibo, though I know Gibo will find this anyway.
    Who is TR?
