    Check the chokes out. I bet their different. If you were to make them the same it might regulate better?

    Was thinking that. Fairly easy to bore it out as well? Guessing the left will be tighter than the right.

    I was actually thinking of chopping it down to 22 or 24 inches, which would sort them both out to cylinder

    Very easy...cordless drill and honing stone off the bargain bin in mitre10 etc. about the only use for the things!!!

    If this is for use on Private land , go for it . If on Public land I would not be advertising what you are up to .
