Has anyone compared one to an A-tec or Roedale yet?

I guess I'll buy one and do so later in the year, because, why not

unless I have all rediculasly good suppressors, Gunworks/dpt/macrae they all basically do the same thing and the difference is so minor on the shooters part its not worth worrying about, I just like light weight

Bill my Gunworks is crap compared to my A-Tec. Its the difference between ringing ears and not. And the A-Tec is about 3 sizes too big...

if it isnt quiet enough for you just add more baffles. they are quite stout little cans so they have good volume for length
way bigger diameter than a gunworks standard can.

the only thing about them is they are a can type suppressor not over barrel.
which looks kinda funny after having overbarrel types.

    The larger diameter looks different.

350mm long type overbarrels look weird.

my dpt with a 16 inch carbine length pencil barrel looked very odd with 8ish inches of skinny barrel between the free float tube and suppressor.

the dpts are 44.5mm which just happens to slide perfectly inside my handgard.

That is a fat handguard. I can't fit a 38mm can inside my Troy (I don't want to). It's super slim and nice.

Any AR with a short handguard and long barrel looks weird. Long handguard as close to the muzzle as possible all the way. 16" you could get a nice 15" troy! or 13.7" NSR or whatever. Allows support hand as close to the muzzle as possible too which is way better for shooting.

My build I'm in the process of is going to be 12.5" with 11" NSR and perma-attached muzzle device to bring it up to legal length with a short stock.

I will eventually go to a rifle length handgard to do exactly that.
good to know I cant use a troy. that was one of the leading options.
probably go hoague so its nice and sticky. or what ever comes up cheep between now and then.

just a $ game at the moment.
