    I'm more of a fan of muzzle forward's look than over barrel. Just how I feel though, doesn't mean it's any better.

    My understanding is the exit hole is sized to strip off the gases / noise so if it is bigger it will not be as effective. I guess I'd shoot it as a 7mm with 223 and see if its quiet enough for you.

    Run an extra baffle in our 223 can. We think it is quieter.
