    Thanks for all of the responses. Much appreciated.
    As it would happen I already have a 7mmRM, I’m perfectly happy with it.
    I also have a 7mm.08, I was just looking for something in the middle and keeping to the 7mm projectiles makes it simple.

    I guess you’re all just highlighting the fact that I have no real need for this rifle... I have some 284 dies, so it seemed like a good idea.

    either stoak the 7mm08 up or load the 7rm down and youll have your middle ground.

    I had a 7x57 a 280 and a 7Rm all at once for a while

    I picked it up, shook it off and dropped it in my pack

    I roasted it whole in a oven bag with some herbs and apple cider in the bottom of it - I knew it would be good cause when I pulled it from the bag both legs bones pulled out
