Nice rifle mate

Is there an NZ mark on the brass plate on the stock? being a 1901 it could have caught the end of the Boer war

Otherwise does it have an E14 or C14 stamped in the stock brass? an E14 rifle would have been with the NZ troops at Gallipoli


Thats a nice rifle though, worth hanging onto! just make sure you flush the barrel with Hot water if you put any old Military ammo through it
