    Thanks fellas for this thread. I did the due diligence and read half the internet before coming across this thread.

    I bought a Konuspot 20-60x80 spotter....for $315! I've had a play with it and it's everything you lads said. Rugged, a bit roughly finished but punching way above its price bracket.

    I'd definitely take it hunting or target shooting. We're not talking Kowa quality or the like but hey, if it breaks on site as these things do - not so much to cry over. I get to spend the saved cash on a better range finder

    At dusk I focused at a tree that's pretty much at 800m and I could easily make out the individual pine fronds. At 60x, a tiny bit of blur (or chromatic aberration in wank talk) to be honest but it has good light transmission, clarity and ok eye relief.

    Dud you get that from one day? Or who ever had that deal last week? I was going to but couldn't commit
