    What about just rebarrelling one of your Tikkas Andy? Prob cost the same as a new shooter plus it'll be on a platform you already like.

    300PRC too big for a T3

    Plus the recoil lug arrangement has always been a weak point on anything done by Sako/Tikka

    You can criticise their recoil lug arrangements all you want, they are still shooting as well or better than most remington like set up.
    As a side note blaser r8 recoil set up is pretty much the same as a tikka.

    Andy, gun city still have some 300 prc Lothar walther barrels prefit for tikka / Sako in 300 prc. If you can find a second hand Sako 85 magnum you will be good to go.i think they were a $1000 which is pretty good considering the price of a rebarrel nowdays.
    I had a play witha couple of fierce in 300 prc, but were not shooting great in those particular configuration.
