    Film 40: Savage MkII Custom

    I wanted a more accurate .22 than my old 10/22, so I bought a Savage MkII FS used off trademe, then it sat in my safe un-used for 2 years because I couldn't get a decent stock for it. Since thegunrack.co.nz is now importing Boyds' stocks, I finally managed to get one and made this:

    Not great. It's going. A bit creepy and a bit spongy.

    That today mate?
    Was going to go up myself but thought it was a bit windy to do what I wanted. That and I fell asleep on the couch and wasted all the daylight.
    Going up tomorrow?

    Yep, it was a wee bit breezy but not too bad. Will go up tomorrow if it's not raining too much

    Not bad but sold the target MkII and will probably move it too my MkII 17hmr, when I swap out the stock.

    Yep, I had one of those in my Hm2. Very nice upgrade for the Savage.
