Finally ordered my CDS turret for the old vx6 ...

But I still wasn’t committed to a particular load so I got it in standard 1/4 moa. Upon first inspection of the zero stop pin I was a bit concerned it wouldn’t be very positive due to it being a bit squashed on the side where it engages, but seems to work ok.

Can get all the way around to 18.75 MOA on the single turn which is plenty.

Free. You get a free CDS dial with every vx6, just hadn’t used my voucher yet despite buying the scope years ago. Dealt with nzasia and the dial had to come from the leupold shop in Oz, so waited for about 4weeks as it was shipped with a batch of other turrets.

@nzspearo - thinking about ordering one for my VX6 1-6. Does the turret move easily i.e do you think it would get bumped easily in the bush?

Clicks are firm and audible, feels better than original plastic adjuster. I don’t think it would easily move by brushing past foliage etc. plus since there’s now a zero stop it’s easy to quickly check the turret is at the zero position, either visibly or by trying to spin it down.

mine moves the most rubbing on my jacket and the paranoia of changing the POI gets to me even tho its half and inch at 100 at most when im clicking it back to zero
