Also turns out I’m just an idiot who doesn’t know anything about rifiling and my barrel is totally fine. Gave it a good clean (before the above so I knew this before buying the new rifle) and it’s loooking pretty mint. Discovered in the process that my suppressor is far more buggered than I thought especially on the last section (I haven’t been able to undo that one to clean it at all), it’s totally chewed out so I’m guessing that’s the cause of my accuracy issues. Thinking back the worst treatment it’s had would have been with a suppressor on so I guess it’s no surprise the barrels ok but the suppressor far gone

I went down the same track. Run a suppressed lightweight 270 with a 20" suppressed, burris sig 3-15 running 145 eldx complimented by an accurate tikka7 rem mag, with leupy vx5 running slippery 180 eldms for windy mountain hunts.
My 270 is my all rounder along with a 243.

I am not sure the suppressor will affect accuracy nless your projectile is hitting it or getting very close to it on exiting. And if it is hitting it, then the issue will be with alignment rather than wear.....If it is aligned correctly when fitted, the projectile should pass through with no issues and a suppressor will handle thousands of rounds befre it really starts to get dirty and need cleaning or attention (Unless you are using a particulary dirty powder....)

Alignment issues could be caused by not spinning it on / letting it get loose onn th ethread so it has wobble....or the thread may or may not be correct...
Intelligence has its limits, but it appears that Stupidity knows no bounds......
