The Rem 597 ? , you know the 22lr semi-auto , which the bolt runs on 2 guide rods , nice fitting adult stock for a rimfire , everything else was crap on it , very happy to get rid of that one .

S&W 916 pump action shotgun , that was a real lemon by S&W , it was the biggest jama matic I have ever used , this was back in the days where pump action riot guns where quite rare , and well before the internet days .

The later S&W 3000 , pump gun was basically a better designed version of the Rem 870 , in reguards to , the shell being able to once in a while get jammed between the bolt & lifter , the 3000 had a bit of extra room , so you could clear it easier if this happened .

SO the 916 was rubbish , and the latter 3000 was a better designed & made Rem870 .

    later Chris

Glad I got rid of these:

Stirling M20P in .22LR, cycled fine, but had shotgun pattern groups with any ammo.

    Tikka T3 Varmint .223

Horrible to carry with sticky out mag at the centre of gravity and heavy barrel. Imported a VX2 4-14x40 AO that when I went to fit it in the Opticlocks, was touching the heavy barrel. Went and locally got some god damn awful adjustable Warne rings which had lumps of metal sticking out into the scope, severe lapping requirement! Glad I offloaded the rifle and the Warnes. Even sending to new buyer was a pain, as went via his gunsmith. Replaced with a few other .223s before settling on the current Sako 75. Much happier.

I think the greater irony of this thread is people finding out their POS was sold unknowingly to a forum member

Not as much sold but I guess you could call it sold for the cost of shipping. I'm glad I got rid of it as the guy shot his first ducks with the shotgun. Beats my plans to try and see how long it'd take me to kill it.

Having read this thread it convinces me to never buy any firearms from you buggers.

Na. Its not yours. This one looks and is worse than that. I should know better by now than to buy guns on TMe without eyeballing them first. Goes also. for a certain Xbolt that I foolishly bought but managed to sell on (that pos will be floating around the market continuously I imagine)

44 Ruger magnum semi auto, was my pig hunting gun. never knew when it was loaded or not. Had a tendency to self load if the Mag was in and you were pushing thru scrub.
