I don't mind. I bought one that was advertised as said POS. That is in the never sell list now.

Had a couple I don't regret selling - not because there was anything wrong with them, they just didn't suit what I wanted to use them for.

    1) Savage 22mag. Good reliable rifle, shot sub-inch groups at 100m, but I learnt that a 22mag is in the awkward middle ground where it isn't cheap to feed like a 22LR, but doesn't have the versatility of a 223 either.

    2) Savage Mod 12 204 varminter - lovely to fire, horrible to carry. 26" truck axle barrel and 10lb bare. Turns out thats not ideal when most of your shooting involves walking up and down hills. Offhand shots are hard work too!

.22LR RAF semi-auto, and a Savage pump action 12g shotgun. Both were more reliable for clubbing than shooting.

Had one of these too Fantasic, except would drop 1 shot in 5 regardless of what we did to it - but still shot really really well apart from that one shot. In the end I had to sell to get something a bit more consistent and bought a CZ American in LH that shoots groups of half your thumbnail @ 25 off the rest. Now I just know the inconsistency is me!!!

Amazing what a head fork just one in 5 or 1 in 10 shots can be. The guy who has it now will be really happy with this for shooting rabbits where the tolerances aren't quite the same!

I would expect a good 22 to shoot that at 50m at least.

Think I might have bought the second one on that list from you.

I cried when that one left my sight

Hope you gave it a good home, treated it nice and looked after it very well.

    Cheers

It does at 50 as well, and a nice weight for Silhouette too... but I didn't want to be up my own bum hole saying its a single ragged hole - as I said the rest is me... but all that trigger time is good spent practicing..

Seems that the ones I am most glad are gone are the semi autos that I owned before the big round up we had over here after Port Arthur. Mini 14 Ranch rifle in 222, I hated to see all my good Norma and Sako brass spread over the paddock, Ruger 10/22, was way too tempting to spray a heap of lead in a hurry and not worry about aiming properly.
I have regretted selling way more that I should have kept, a bloke is a real dickhead sometimes.
