sixties, I have seen on YouTube that the double badger has some issues. Their comments were about the poorly mounted front sight. It would move and come loose. Maybe that is the cause. Can you mount a red dot sight easily? Chiappa dropped the ball when they designed the front and rear sights of many of their rifles. Do you own a little badger? If not maybe replace the double badger with the little badger😋 cheers Brent

Thanks brett. I actually have a little red dot on it, arctic fox cheapo brand . I was looking at the little badger too but a local store won't deal with them due to warranty issues. I am pretty remote though and dealers dont like having to ship items 6500km return to melbourne for serious warranty work. Can't really say whether the little badger has inherent problems I am only going off the situation with the local dealer

    Oh where to start
Savage 99 E in .243...... excess head space went to GC traded on new 700 classic in same caliber.
Winnie '92 in 44 40 couldnt hit barns from the inside.
SLR for 3 gun, couldnt get good groups with dust cover mounted scope plus it got sore after 100 + target shots
Traded for Ranch rifle ...still couldnt do better than 3 inch groups but better on the shoulder.
Got out of IPSC so sold the Ruger By then E cat was in and I got a bundle for the gun and mags as it was registered E

S&W 745, only 7 shot mags everyone was running double stack 9 mm or long mag 1911's so went to a CZ75
Stirling M14 .22, broken stock , bent barrel and bent mag so as a 10 shot it would only hold 5. Was a work gun in pest board times and had a hard life
Ruger 10 22 target model .... dream to shoot just not practical to carry around.

Sako A1, rusted when it looked like rain, people want to pay stupid money to own one. So i let someone.

happy with most of the others 'till their time comes
