I imagine they already have hand held lasers with some sort of back system, shotgun/laser would be great something that could burn off the feathers

Next will be laser assault rifles. US Marines will be looking more like Imperial Stormtroopers fighting the rebel forces

Surely they could have selected a better name for the ship than USS Ponce?

"Ponce is the only ship of the United States Navy that is named for Ponce in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, which in turn was named after the Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de León, the first governor of Puerto Rico and European discoverer of Florida."

One or two well placed shots at the sky, and there goes the internet bye bye...and NZ Post will be back in business delivering our hand written note to each other.
Which is worse, ignorance or apathy...I don't know and don't care.

And they release the info... So what else do they have.....

$1 a shot, just about as cheap as .223 but can knock a ship/boat out, wonder what it would do to rabbits/deer/pigs.....
