    3291g with supp and bipod. 2872g rifle and scope only and 3131g with supp

    The Montana would be considerably lighter i'd say.

    My Model 7 7mm SAUM with factory heavy 22" barrel (but fluted) in a Stug stock weighs just shy of 3.1kg with a big 4-16x50 target turret scope on it.

    Yes, it's fair to say recoil without a muzzle device of any sort is stiff. 162 Amax doing 3,070 fps. I carry a DPT Magnum suppressor with 6 baffles in my pack and that gets fitted before taking a long/prone shot, with that on its a pussy really.

    We all know we carry rifles far more than we shoot them.

    Sorry to bring up an old thread. But about to buy one of these for my kid to use.
    Anyone know of these any of these hinged floorplates in nz?
