Going by the background, it looks like you need all the tools of a gun smith’s shop to keep it going.

Been away hunting with it this weekend, took 2 rounds to site in then a 3 round group with it at a speights box off my pack and it was shooting an inch with rem corelokt factory rounds. Saw quite a few tahr but nothing got shot. Bulls seemed to be lowish but nothing big seen.

Smacked a rabbit with it and also shot one with my 338.

Should also say, this rifle is awesome. Is extremely well balanced and could carry all day. Im very happy with it. Will do some range time hopefully this week to make sure it has reasonable accuracy

just over 6lb 3ounce ready to go.

How far up did you go? Did you have a look in all three catchments? Ive had a look up there but i spent too much time walking and not enough time looking! And subsequently saw nothing.

Yeah went to the top 2000m I think it was. Saw more tahr at the bottom. Also drove through landowners place up the back of his track and saw a few. Not as many around as I thought but had been quite a few people through

Having a full weight gun with all the trimmings I'm starting to be interested in this Forbes.
Do you know What is the relationship between Forbes and NULA ?

What scope did you chose ?

    Also what bullet weight ?

Forbes is the production version of nula, effectively the same weight but not as many options available. The stock is exactly the same apparently but you don't choose lop or colours etc. barrel is same profile but nula have Douglas and Forbes have a ershaw barrel. I may be wrong with what is above.

I just have a Bushnell elite on it at the moment. Ideally I want a z5 on it. May look at Leupold vx2 lightweight but just don't have much faith in the lower model Leupolds. Other option is vx3 3.5-10 but again probably not gaining much over the elite

I have now put 18 rounds through it of remington factory 150grn corelokt. Unsure of what projectile I will choose to reload
