Thread: Forbes rebarrel

Hi all

I'm thinking of rebarreling a forbes 20b to a fast twist 6mm, does anyone know if a rem 700 barrel will fit I know these were based on a scaled down 700, I have googled this but couldn't find much on the subject. I have a rem700 criterion pre fit in 6 creedmoor which would do nicely after it was turned down to a lighter contour and shortened a couple of inches. Also any gun Smiths dunedin/otago you would reccomend for such a job.
