Hi Guys and Gals,
I am currently looking for a new team member to fill a fulltime Marketing and Sales position.
You must be computer literate, have a passion for the outdoors, be a team player, NZ Citizen or Resident with a CURRENT NZ Firearms Licence, and have a sound product knowledge relating to Firearms and Accessories.
We operate 6 days a week and some rostered weekend work will be part of your employment agreement.

Anyone with a "passion for the outdoors" wont want to be working in a bloody shop, especially on weekends.

@Spook - Its actually refreshing to see that some of these places are actually closed for 1 day in the weekend and it's another 7 day a week thing that it is for some up here... Upside I guess is either more hours available or a day off during the week to go shooting while every one else is in their offices and 9-5 jobs is actually quite cool.

I know my best mate runs a Photography Gallery and graphic design business in Wanaka and takes when he can the Tuesday off to get out to get his subject matter and closes the gallery and heads off into the hills.

I should see if I can get him to let me post his shot of a couple of boys (stags) that popped up in the middle of a photo taking sesh earlier in the year - an awesome shot as is most of his stuff.

shooters supplies -IMHO one of the best shops in CHCH friendly nothing is a problem and prices are sweet .I knew its late owner,and feel confident in saying the new ones are equally as customer focused. keep up the good work.

Only $25 per hour? Wouldn't get out of bed for that

These days I am. Washing houses for that, would rather be in a gun shop. SAI were only offering $17.50/hr the other week. If it had been $25, I'd have had a go.

It a good job for some keen person. Don't knock the guy for putting the position forward on the forum. If I was in chch and unemployed I would be very keen. Thanks for coming to the forum Geoff.

I am very impressed with changes that have happened to Shooters Supplies since Geoff has been there and the website is really good. If I was at a difference stage of my life, I would jump at the chance to work there.

I spent some coin there 2days ago ,and as i said was bloody impressed with the service. alas things did not work out -no fault of the staff but they they certainly stood behind the product +++++++. and for all thoser who sit there thinking yea asskissng ++++++- forget it ,I value customer service aboveall else -if dont like you well wallet stays shut end of fuckin story!!!
