    What about the Rossi 8122? RRP of $299, so wholesale would be even cheaper. I’ve owned one and shot 3-4 others, all grouped well within an inch at 50m with bulk ammo, triggers aren’t the best though, but I would much rather that than a new Jw-15, and would be a decent amount cheaper than the Savage. Also available with black, pink or green synthetic stocks, or a wood stock, so decent variety for people.

    They come with 3/8 dovetail groove, and I believe “most”(unsure if all) come with picatinny bases. BUT, could be a cool option, if you were to go with the Rossi, to buy some generic picatinny rails and drill to the receiver, to make the mounting of NV, thermal or red dot sights a lot easier. They also come with two 10 round mags from the factory, which is nice

    Also worth noting that Rossi is also rebadged as a Mossberg and Citadel (and who knows what else). They just have different furniture, and the Citadel comes with a picatinny rail.
