what's everyone's experience with using golf rangefinders for hunting? is it worth looking into or a waste of time and bite the bullet and spend top dollar on a vortex or leupold?

Not sure if this will come through, but I got one under $200, and it does all i need it to. Next model up has TBR and other features. It pings off a tree at 1350ish metres, fenceposts 750-800, so I can't fault it

A range finder just measures distance so as a basic measuring device both will do it. Higher the price the more gadgets it has built into it
