Never seen the flambeau cases but I assume they will be similar to the plano ones which I have. The double is swet at around $130 solid plastic outer and thick egg carton style foam inside. Its been beaten up by baggage handlers and never had any damage to the rifles. Hope this helps mate.

I rate Pelican, but they are an expensive bit of kit.

Hmm, good and cheap don't often mix.

Pelican is good, also look at SKB.

If the case is going to take lots of abuse, Plano or flambeau are unlikely to cut it. Also, if the case will be exposed to rain etc, get something with decent seals.

These look pretty bullet proof and the padding has to be seen to be believed

I have both a Flambeau Double Case and a Pelican 1750 Double Case. No comparison in quality. The Pelican is bomb proof. For $100 the Flambaeu will probably be fine 90% of the time, but the plastic is rather thin on them.

I have Pelican and Storm cases for all my rifles. If you value your firearms then spend money accordingly.

Plano and and Flambeau are junk compared to good quality cases.

I have a plano one. If you think its too weak I'd like to know what the hell do with your gun cases.

I actually dont use it much now. Gunbag is good enough to throw on the back and its still ok.

Just get the gun rack in the back window of your pick up truck just like in the movies.
