Jeez that has seen better days. Most of the rust looks like it could be treated with a bit of elbow grease and steel wool, But that barrel is well and truly gone.. wonder what caused someone to leave a gun like that in the water

Yeah probably not worth it i think. I think you will struggle to get a barrel for less than $300, boyds stock at $200, magazine at $90 and then you still need to clean up the action and then re-blue it. Could probably add another $300 in gunsmiths cost to remove the old barrel, fit the new one and re blue it... though this gunsmiths time is a guess.
All of this assumes the trigger still works and not other parts need replacing.
